My name is Robert Keith and I’m an Italian wannabe. I have always been drawn to everything Italian…food, wine, language, art, fashion, lifestyle, etc. I was thrilled when I got my DNA results back and found while I am mostly English and Irish, I am also 1% “broadly European”, which I am claiming as my Italian heritage! I love the Italians deep passion for family, food, culture and living life fully. They also work to live rather than live to work. In my opinion, they have their priorities right. That is why this website is deeply influenced by that mentality. While not all my recipes and posts are Italian based, you will find they are marinated in that same passion and influence. The literal translation of this Italian phrase is “just enough, but not too much”. My interpretation of this is “as much as you like”!

I came across this phrase once in an Italian cookbook and fell in love with it! That is my philosophy for life…everyone should have as much flavor in their life as they like!

When I went to create my domain with that name I found that someone already owned it. I therefore needed to create an alternative and decided to add the number 8 to the end of it. First, as a foodie, I love that number because it sounds like you are saying “ate”. Second, I love the number because it is a great number energetically when it comes to numerology. Lastly, if you tip it to it’s side it is the symbol for infinity which is everlasting and everflowing which I love! Thus, QuantoBasta8 was created!
