QB8 Vino-2013 Bottaia Montepulciano Reserve

I love words with multiple syllables, and if it is an Italian word, I love it more so. Sooo, not only is Bottaia’s 2013 Montepulciano Reserve a delicious wine to taste, it is also a divine word to say! (https://www.bottaiawinery.com)

I have a separate review posted on my site about the winery itself but while I love almost all the wines at Bottaia Winery, my absolute favorite is the 2013 Montepulciano Reserve.

I love a red wine with a rich dark hue and this one fully delivers! You can see in the picture the rich gem like colors glistening proudly in the glass against the bright sunlight! Just gorgeous!

You instantly pick up on the dark fruit jammy scents with a light spicey finish to the nose. Intoxicating!

While I love a full bodied wine, my favorite are those that deliver that richness in a smooth fashion like this one certainly does. It has a smooth silky mouth feel with a good flavor length. This Montepulciano has that complex, richness of fruit, and smooth tannin combination that goes down very easy and I think would appeal to all red wine lovers!
